What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TSL-24373-21). The Tenant failed to pay $500 towards damages by February 1, 2022, as required. The Landlord also sought compensation for damages and unpaid rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 7, 2022. The Tenant must pay $8,322.00 to the Landlord, plus $37.64 per day starting February 25, 2022, until vacating the unit. If not paid by March 7, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting March 8, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
