Rent Increases Rent Controlled
Rent increase guideline (RIG) limits annual increases for tenancies before Nov 15, 2018. Units first occupied after Nov 15, 2018 are exempt from rent increase caps.
Grounds for Eviction
- Non-payment of rent (N4)
- Lease violation (N5)
- Persistent late payment (N8)
- Owner/family occupancy (N12)
- Substantial renovation (N13)
- Illegal activity or endangerment (N6/N7)
