What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant committing illegal acts, substantially interfering with Landlord's reasonable enjoyment, and wilfully causing undue damage to the property.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 2, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $15,379.36 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $39.45 per day starting February 26, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. The Tenant must also pay $400 for the damage caused to the property. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by March 2, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
