Landlord applied for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting Tenant because the Tenant's employment as a superintendent has ended.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 10, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,979.12 for compensation for remaining in the unit after the termination date, $58.67 per day for compensation for use of the unit until the Tenant moves out, and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 10, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
